CROCHET CUTE BIRD MOBILÉ

Description

We are completely enchanted by this funny bird-Mobilé by Troetels & Zo . It is the ideal gift for the godchild, grandchild or own baby. How to crochet such a unique mobilé yourself is explained in this guide.

The birds are worked in spiral rounds without closing the rounds.

Crochet beak

1st Round: Use needle size 2 to crochet a magic ring with four strong stitches. (4 M)

2nd Round: Now crochet two solid pegs each in a tight loop of the preliminary round. (8 M)

3rd to 4th round: crochet a single crochet into the loop of the preliminary round. (8 M)

Crochet bird body

1st round: Crochet a magic ring with 6 strong stitches using needle size 2.5. (6M)

2nd Round: Now crochet two solid dice into each of the rounds of the preliminary round. (12 M)

3rd round: Crochet 1 dc and then crochet 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (18 M)

4th round: Crochet 2 dc and then work 2 dc together in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (24 M)

5th round: Crochet 3 dc and then work 2 dc together in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (30 M)

6th round: Crochet 4 dc and then work 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (36 M)

7th to 11th round: Crochet 1 dc in each stitch of the preliminary round. (36 M)

Round 12: Crochet 5 dc and then work 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (42 M)

Round 13: Crochet 6 dc and then work 2 dc together in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (48 M)

14th to 19th round: Crochet 1 sc in each stitch of the preliminary round. (48 M)

Round 20: Crochet 6 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (42 M)

Round 21: Crochet 5 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (36 M)

Round 22: Crochet 4 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (30 M)

Now attach the ribbon to the bird’s body to hang it on the bird and close the beak and the safety eyes between rows 8 and 9. Then you can fill the bird with cotton wool.

Round 25: Crochet 1 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (12 M)

Round 26: Crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (6M)

Now the rest of Gran is pulled through the remaining stitches with a Vernähnadel and sewn.

Fangs (2x)

1st round: Crochet a magic ring with 6 strong stitches with needle size 2. (6M)

2nd round: Crochet 1 dc and then crochet 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (9 M)

3rd round: Crochet 2 dc and then crochet 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (12 M)

4th to 8th round: Crochet 1 dc in each stitch of the preliminary round. (12 M)

9th round: Crochet 2 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (9 M)

Round 10: Crochet 1 dc and then crochet 2 dc together. Repeat until the end of the round. (6M)

Then you pull the thread through the last loop and remove the thread, leaving a long piece of thread. Now flatten the wing and then sew to the side of the bird’s body at the level of the beak and the eyes.

Star Body (2x working)

1st round: Crochet a magic ring with 6 strong stitches using needle size 2.5. (6M)

2nd Round: Now crochet two solid dice into each of the rounds of the preliminary round. (12 M)

3rd round: Crochet 1 dc and then crochet 2 dc in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (18 M)

4th round: Crochet 2 dc and then work 2 dc together in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (24 M)

5th round: Crochet 3 dc and then work 2 dc together in the next stitch of the preliminary round. Repeat until the end of the round. (30 M)

Star Pip (5x)

Now you knit a star in 6 stitches of the star-body. It works like this:

1st round: Put both star bodies on each other with the left side. Crochet 6 Stitched Stitches into 6 Stitches of Your First Star Body and continue 6 dc in 6 Stitches of your second Star Body. Thus, the first round is done. (12 M)

2nd to 3rd round: Crochet 1 dc in each stitch of the preliminary round. (12 M)

4th round: Crochet 5 dc, then 2 dc, knit 3 dc and 2 dc again. (10 M)

5th round: Crochet 1 dc in each stitch of the preliminary round. (10 M)

Round 6: Crochet 2 dc, knit 3 dc, 2 dc, 3 dc. (8 M)

7th round: Crochet 2 dc, 2 dc, 2 dc crochet together, 2 dc. (6M)

Now with a Vernähnadel pull the thread through all remaining 6 stitches and sewn.

Now crochet 4 more points. In between fill the star with filling cotton and sew all threads well.

Complete

Then you can still pull beads on your suspension and attach the birds and the star to the Mobilé.
